End / Finish

Usamos os verbos ''to end'' e ''to finish'' de maneira semelhante.
End significa acabar, terminar no sentido de concluir ou parar algo.
Finish significa acabar, terminar no sentido de completar algo.

End Usamos quando nos referimos a história, uma estrada, encerramento de um show ou partida de algum esporte. Quando seguido por um objeto direto, ''end'' significa ''stop''. • Verb • Noun • Proverb

Finish Ele enfatiza uma ação dentro de um período de tempo específico. Algo que chegou à conclusão, finalizou.  • Verb • Noun Finished Significa algo completado ou destruído.

💡Lembrete:  Somente a palavra “finish” pode ir seguida da forma “-ing”.  Mas não por um infinitivo ''-to''. ✅I haven’t finished drying my hair yet. ❌ I haven’t finished to dry… ''End'' não pode ser seguido por um infinitivo -to ou forma -ing. Utilize o ''stop''.
