Conjunctions: Time / Until - By

Muitas destas junções de tempo pode ser seguido por -ing -ed ou formas em vez de sujeito + verbo.

After	Always take a quick break after finishing a task. or Always take a quick break after you finish a task.
As soon as (immediately after)	As soon as I got to the theater, I looked for a seat.
As - time	I woke up early as the sun was rising.
As - reason	I’m going to bed early as I have to get up early tomorrow.
Once	I’ll call you once I arrive.
Before	He never goes home before he’s read and replied to all his emails.
By	He has to be at the Office by 8:00 every morning.
Until	I cleaned the house until my wife came home.
When	She was in a bad car accident when she was young.
While	No one left the cinema while the movie was on.

Nós não usamos bala após conjunções referentes ao tempo futuro.

Ex. I will call you as soon as I get to the office.

I will call you as soon as i will get to the office.

Until / By

Há várias maneiras de dizermos “até” em inglês. Duas dessas maneiras são as palavras by e until. O modo como usamos cada uma delas é bem diferente. Segue abaixo.

Deadline - Tomorrow	Referem-se a um prazo.

The movie should be over by 8 o’clock. (O filme deve acabar até as 8 horas.) deadline

I’ll be here until next month. (Vou ficar aqui até o mês que vem.) now---next month
